Overall Purpose of Job
Are you passionate about ensuring business compliance and driving value from third-party relationships?
We are seeking a dedicated Third Party Risk Management and Supplier Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our TPRM framework and building organisational capability to foster compliance and effective third-party management.
Key Accountabilities
* Support the P&P strategic vision and development plan.
* Stay abreast of external market trends related to TPRM, identifying innovation practices and opportunities for improvement.
* Support the drive to establish a company-wide cultural awareness of the value derived from partnering with the P&P function.
* Manage challenges from the BRM community regarding TPRM assurance outcomes and interpretations of best practice.
* Support the development of procurement and organisational capability by enhancing the skills of the BRM group and budget holders to improve TPRM.
* Contribute to establishing ongoing operating plans to develop and strengthen the function.
* Provide support to Senior Sourcing and Supplier managers on key projects as required.
* Assist the business with lower value sourcing activities to ensure compliance with third-party risk management frameworks.
* Build the capability of the BRM community to manage risk and enhance third-party performance and value for money.
* Ensure material outsource and strategic suppliers have compliant third-party risk management through proactive engagement.
* Ensure understanding and due diligence for all sub-outsourcing activities across the third-party base.
* Apply TPRM best practices to optimize contracts, improve outcomes, and advise on opportunities for better service levels or cost reductions.
* Deliver clinics and communications to BRMs to improve TPRM compliance.
* Support BRMs in executing TPRM and serve as the primary contact with the P&P team for TPRM queries.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive third-party risk management framework covering all lifecycle phases.
* Create and update tools and templates to facilitate TPRM activities.
* Review assurance reports to identify gaps, agree on remediation, and aim for a compliant TPRM status, sharing themes via clinics.
* Perform quality assurance on TPRM activities, records, and artifacts.
* Prepare TPRM assurance content for cost optimization meetings to drive improvements.
* Manage procurement activities related to sourcing reports and ensure TPRM records are current.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills
* Experience in third-party risk management within Financial Services
* Support in sourcing activities
* Knowledge of contractual and commercial terms
* Ability to operate in fast-paced environments
* Understanding of TPRM best practices in Financial Services
* Experience in policy and process development
* Knowledge of financial regulation requirements
* Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills, including with senior management
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and relationship-building ability
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification preferred
