The Primary Care Wellbeing Service is an award winning, research active interdisciplinary team.
We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical psychologist / psychological therapist to work with both long term health pathways: Persistent Physical Symptoms and Staff Long Term Health Conditions. The postholder will be enthusiastic, have good time management skills and an interest in the links between long term conditions and complex psychological problems. The postholder will use a range of psychological therapies on an individual, group and consultation basis. This post involves working with a wide range of psychological difficulties and requires close multi-disciplinary working, consultation and training.
The post holder will also be involved in the collation, analysis and presentation of data as well as participation in audit, research and service development. Regular supervision and CPD opportunities will be provided.
We have established excellent links with University of Leeds Clinical Psychology Training course and also Bradford University.

Provide evidence based psychological therapy, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
Provide clinical supervision, consultation and advice on psychological therapies and psychological elements of care.
Assist the Team Manager/Clinical Lead with operational duties and service development, including research and development activities.
