Cleaning Supervisor
1. Location: Selby College
2. Salary: £24,918 - £26,435 full time equivalent | £16,350 - £17,861 actual salary
3. Hours: 25 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive Estates team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene, creating a welcoming environment for all students, staff and visitors.
You will be required to:
4. Supervise and allocate duties to cleaning staff on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
5. Monitor attendance, arrange cover when required, and ensure consistent service delivery
6. Carry out regular audits to ensure high standards are maintained
7. Manage cleaning supplies, maintaining accurate stock levels and placing orders as needed
As a Cleaning Supervisor you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
You will have:
8. COSHH awareness, or will be willing to undertake
9. A Health and Safety qualification or be willing to undertake
10. First Aid at Work, or be willing to undertake
11. A good level of Maths and English
12. Experience of leading a team
