Location: Work from home with travel across the region
Hours: 35 hours per week with some evening and weekend work required
Salary: £13.50 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for a competent Volunteer and Fundraising Coordinator to recruit and manage volunteers whilst also supporting individual fundraisers, managing donation processes and ensuring both supporters and volunteers feel valued and engaged.

Key Responsibilities:
Source and recruit volunteers through various techniques (databases, e-mail, social media etc.)
Collect information on availabilities and skills
Organise volunteer training and Mental Health Awareness Training for members of the farming community and businesses.
Assign volunteer roles to volunteers according to their skills.
Work with Assistant Charity Manager to coordinate teams of volunteers for large-scale events
Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and well-placed including 6 monthly reviews.
Keep detailed records of volunteers’ information and assignments using CRM system.
Organise DBS checks for all volunteers
Organise Volunteer “Thankyou” events and information events to keep all volunteers up to date with the charities progress.
Track, collect and maintain donation buckets, including physically collecting and dropping them off.
Write and send timely thank you letters to supporters, including handling postage.
Provide end-to-end support to individuals organising fundraising events.
Respond to email enquiries related to individual donations and send out donation forms.
Attend cheque presentations and represent the charity at individual giving events.
Deliver talks and presentations at fundraising events to promote the work of the charity.
Attend and assist at individual fundraising events when possible.
Record all donations accurately using our CRM system.
Support internal events as required.
Manage and archive completed donation forms on the CRM system.
Ensure individual fundraisers receive the resources they need, such as t-shirts and fundraising packs and deliver materials where needed.
Count and bank donations with full transparency and communicate records with relevant team members.
Work in line with all WAFM policies and procedures.
Be adaptable to the changing needs of the charity, including occasional evening and weekend work.
What We're Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, reliable and self-motivated
Comfortable with public speaking and event attendance
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with CRM systems or have a willingness to learn
A warm, approachable manner and a genuine passion for supporting people and communities
A team player who is flexible and willing to roll up their sleeves
A sense of humour is a must!
