At New Reflexions, we’re looking for an experienced Registered Home Manager to work in our new bespoke two bedded Response home that specialises in offering Outdoor activities. The home will be dual registered with Ofsted and AALA. We believe in putting young people first — and we're proud to be recognised for our child-centred, therapeutic approach. Company overview: The Cumbria region is thriving and has a great working ethos with an established management and core team in place to provide ongoing support with the role. Its an exciting time to open the home and make your own stamp on the service. The response placements are popular with local authorities whom request these placements. New Reflexions is a childcare organisation dedicated to offering care, education, and therapy services to young people who have encountered trauma, leading to emotional and behavioural challenges. Specifically, the New Reflexions Children’s Residential Service provides therapeutic placements, catering to individuals up to the ages of 18 years, for both short-term and long-term placements. Role overview: We are looking for a conscientious individual with relevant care qualifications, skills, and knowledge to provide effective leadership and management to the staff team. Successful candidates will be dedicated professionals with verified experience working as a Senior Residential Care Worker or a Home Manager for children. You should be able to demonstrate or possess: Applicants must have at least 1 year experience as a Senior RCW or Deputy and hold their NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management Experience in or an understanding of AALA Full UK manual driving Licence is essential Flexible in working in in various environments Passionate about the outdoors Access to your own transport You will be passionate about working within the care sector and committed to delivering high-quality care services and positive outcomes. You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills together with the flexible attitude necessary in this demanding environment Able to complete a sleep-in rota when required The post holder has the responsibility to adhere to our Safeguarding and Child Protection Procedure Benefits Fully paid 2-week induction training including First Aid Level 3.
