In‑House & Private Practice Role (5+ PQE+)
This is a hybrid position split between two locations, offering flexible working. The role blends time within a supportive private practice environment alongside working closely with this global food and drink business that manages both an owned property portfolio and a leased estate.
A bit about the opportunity
The property work within the business has grown steadily, and they now feel it would be beneficial to have a dedicated commercial property specialist involved at least part‑time in‑house to provide continuity and a single point of contact.
You would remain fully employed by the firm, with access to all resources, systems, precedents, and knowledge support. This role is also likely to grow into a full‑time in‑house position over time.
What the role looks like day‑to‑day
➤ Supporting the business on around 20 ongoing matters at any given time, as well as ad‑hoc project work.
➤ Helping to organise and migrate deeds, documents, and property schedules.
➤ Managing progress across transactions and liaising with internal stakeholders.
➤ Benefiting from the support and guidance of an established commercial property department.
➤ It offers genuine variety, blend of client‑facing in‑house exposure and the stability of private practice
➤ It provides the chance to gain deeper commercial insight while still developing within a legal team.
➤ This relationship is already strong and well supported, rather than building something from scratch.
➤ There’s meaningful potential for the role to evolve into a broader in‑house position
