Job Description:
Within this hands-on role of a Paid Search Account Manager, you will craft and execute cutting-edge paid search strategies focusing on Google Ads to drive exceptional results. You will develop and implement comprehensive paid search strategies across multiple platforms, including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, and manage campaigns to meet these strategies, tracking their performance to achieve desired outcomes.
Tasks
* Ensure all managed customer accounts have a commercial strategy with specific performance targets aligned with client expectations.
* Collaborate closely with an Account Strategist for larger clients on advanced strategies.
* Develop an understanding of products, competition, industry, and marketing goals for each client.
* Manage budgets to stay aligned with strategy and ensure monthly spend targets are met.
* Measure campaign effectiveness, aiming to increase traffic and conversions.
* Utilize tools, including in-house AI marketing tools, to analyze data and understand user trends.
* Produce detailed reports for clients with activity summaries, insights, recommendations, and performance metrics.
* Maintain high standards in report writing, adhering to company branding.
* Maintain regular client contact, providing prompt responses to queries.
* Participate in customer meetings and QBRs as required.
* Offer additional solutions such as landing pages, social media, eCommerce, or brand refreshes to meet client needs.
* Optimize client accounts for maximum performance using PPC best practices.
* Perform regular maintenance on ongoing accounts for efficient campaign management.
* Manage workload effectively and document time accurately.
* Share knowledge, insights, and best practices freely.
* Stay updated with industry trends through networking, research, and reading.
Requirements
* Highly numerate with strong business acumen.
* Experience managing customer budgets.
* Strong data analysis skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
* Excellent report writing skills.
* 2+ years experience in Paid Search management within an agency environment is essential.
* Deep knowledge of paid search methodologies and campaign management techniques.
* Analytical skills to interpret data, news, and research quickly for strategic planning.
* Proficiency with Google Analytics and other analytics platforms.
* Good knowledge of social media channels like Facebook and LinkedIn, with experience running paid campaigns.
* Ability to set up and implement new PPC accounts and campaigns.
