Vacancy for HR Support Officer To start as soon as possible Permanent, 37 hours per week, all year round Grade 7 SCP 18-23 (£31,537 - £34,434 FTE) Invictus Education Trust is excited to announce a new opportunity for an HR Support Officer. About the Role As an HR Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and will be a visible presence in our schools. You’ll provide essential administrative support across recruitment, payroll, employee relations, training and development, and compliance. What We Offer Full training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Clear career pathways with opportunities to progress within the HR function A supportive, friendly team environment with mentoring and guidance The chance to contribute to school improvement through the Workforce Strategy Nationally agreed terms and conditions in line with NJC Green Book provision Local Government Pension Scheme Generous annual leave plus bank holidays and a concessionary day Free onsite parking Free annual flu vaccinations Key Responsibilities Provide HR support on-site across schools within the Trust Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes Maintain accurate HR records and ensure policy compliance Support school leaders with employee relations and staff welfare Coordinate and assist with staff training and development Respond to HR queries and provide appropriate guidance What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Qualifications : NVQ Level 3/CIPD Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience, with a good standard of English and Maths Experience: A successful track record in managing and developing HR processes such as recruitment, payroll, probationary periods, and low-level casework Skills: Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS systems, as well as applicant tracking systems Analytical Ability: The ability to analyse data and present findings clearly to various audiences Attention to Detail : Consistently accurate in your work I ndependence & Teamwork: Able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with others Values: A strong commitment to the values of the Trust and the highest standards of child protection and safeguarding Relationships: Ability to form and maintain professional relationships quickly and effectively Tenacity: A resilient and determined approach to challenges Why Choose Invictus Education Trust?
