About the Role The accountant will work closely with the FinancialReportingManager and Financial Controller to ensureaccurate,timelyand informative monthly reporting forSTATSportsGroup Limited and its subsidiaries. There will be great focus on process improvement, and ensuring financial controls areappropriate, withan opportunity to learn and upskill with Power BI. This role will be based in Newry, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Whatyoulldo Responsible forpreparingaccurateandtimelymonthly management accounts including: Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Monthly P&L reviews and variance analysis Preparationof monthly consolidation accounts pack Overseetimelypreparation of UK andsubsidiarymanagement accounts Completing VAT,OSSand otherstatutoryreturns Review of margin across contracts Statutory audit preparationof schedules and supportingdocumentationrequired by auditors Monthly P&L review and variance analysis against budget Support with ad hoc projects and ability to improve finance processes Support function for general accountingqueries withthefinance team Note: this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. About you Youllneed to have At least1years PQE Qualified accountant with membership of a professional body, e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA Proficient in the use of MS Office, especially Excel Demonstrate experience of applyingtechnicalaccountingknowledge totransactions (e.g. revenue recognitioncriteria) Attention to detail and the ability to work with other team membersto meet necessaryreporting deadlines Can explain financedata to non-financestakeholders It would be great if you had Experience with ERP Accounts Packages, ideally in Microsoft Navision Experience with cost accounting Experience with group accounts and consolidations Experience with Power Query and Power BI High levelof accuracy&excellent attention to detail Goodproblem-solvingskills and general accountancy acumen STATSportsis an equal opportunity employer.
