COME AND JOIN US. .. We are currently seeking an experienced, guest-focused, and self-motivated Hair Stylist who takes pride in delivering outstanding service to join our team at Bob & Cloche. The on target earning potential for this role is £15.74 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £13.24, plus a qualified estimate of £2.50 per hour in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. Working 18 or 24 hours per week, you'll cover a range of shifts, with start times from 9am and finishing no later than 6pm. Weekend availability is also required. You’ll confidently interpret their needs, offer expert advice, and suggest flattering styles tailored to their face shape, hair type, and lifestyle, presenting options they may not have considered Blow dries are especially popular at Bob & Cloche, and your confidence and skill in delivering beautiful finishes will be a key asset Understanding that sitting in the salon chair can feel daunting for some, you’ll use your warm interpersonal skills to put clients at ease, engaging them in genuine, relaxing conversation You stay ahead of the curve, following trends, embracing new techniques, and sharing your insights with clients to elevate their experience; you’ll carry out specialist treatments and show a keen interest in gaining further qualifications, constantly growing your skills while enhancing our offering Taking pride in maintaining a pristine work environment, ensuring all areas and equipment are immaculate and presented to the highest standard Fully informed about the estate’s facilities, activities, events, and promotions, you’ll confidently share these with clients to enrich their overall Gleneagles experience. You’ll also play a role in mentoring colleagues, setting a high standard of professionalism and service You’ll contribute to our commercial success by confidently upselling products and services, working enthusiastically toward achieving retail targets Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for : You hold a Level 2 qualification in Hairdressing, with fantastic experience across a variety of styles, colours, and hair types. Ideally, you’ve spent a few years working in a salon environment, but above all, it’s your positive attitude and professionalism that set you apart Passionate about hairstyling and the creativity it inspires, you're committed to continuous learning and eager to grow your skills even further. Beyond your technical expertise, you’re confident, approachable, and naturally connect with people.
