We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Business Studies Teacher to join secondary schools in and around Towcester from January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, aligned with the national curriculum.
* Teach GCSE and A-Level classes, adapting lessons for diverse learning styles and ability levels.
* Support pupils’ academic progress through regular assessment, feedback, and targeted intervention.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Business and Economics department to maintain high teaching standards.
* Encourage student curiosity, ambition and resilience in the classroom.
* Contribute to a positive school culture that values learning and personal development.
Ideal Candidate
* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs welcome to apply).
* Have recent experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level (KS4/KS5).
* Be confident in classroom management and behaviour strategies.
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching business concepts.
* Be organised, reflective and committed to continuous professional development.
* Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service.
