We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Supervisor / Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team. You will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and supporting the management team in achieving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

* Guest Service & Satisfaction:
* Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay or dining experience.
* Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
* Anticipate and meet guest needs, ensuring a memorable and positive experience.
* Team Leadership & Staff Development:
* Assist in recruiting, training, and developing front-line team members.
* Lead by example, providing guidance, support, and feedback to team members.
* Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, engagement, and accountability.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
* Operations Management:
* Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the property or venue.
* Manage front desk operations, guest check-in/check-out processes, and reservation systems.
* Ensure the facility meets health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
* Coordinate and manage guest requests and special accommodations.
* Handle opening/closing procedures, ensuring the proper handling of cash, credit, and transactions.
* Inventory & Cost Control:
* Assist in maintaining inventory control, ensuring stock levels are adequate and orders are placed in a timely manner.
* Monitor costs and expenditures, ensuring budget guidelines are followed.
* Assist in managing financial reports, including revenue and operational expenses.
* Marketing & Promotions:
* Support marketing efforts to increase awareness of services, special events, and promotions.
* Ensure that all promotional materials are up to date and accurately displayed.
* Assist in gathering guest feedback for continuous improvement and ensuring guest loyalty programs are promoted.
* Compliance & Reporting:
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, health, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Prepare reports related to guest feedback, employee performance, and operational activities.
* Report and escalate issues to the General Manager as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
* Experience: 2+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role.
* Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
* Customer Service: Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
* Problem Solving: Strong decision-making skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure operational efficiency.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, MICROS), MS Office Suite, and basic accounting principles.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand, walk, and move around the property for extended periods.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, as needed.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
