Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Lead (Associate Director Grade) to join our busy and expanding Bristol & South West based Defence team, working on Controls & Performance duties across several high-profile Infrastructure Projects/Programmes. This role offers the chance to innovate, collaborate, and learn from our experienced Planning & Scheduling community and Controls network.
As an Associate Director, you will work within the Programme Controls Team on one of our commissions. Under the direction of the Programme Director, you will manage the development, implementation, use, and maintenance of Project Controls processes within the Programme or a subdivision.
This includes overseeing daily management, staffing, and the application of Integrated Project Controls standards. You will be responsible for all Project Controls activities related to design, manufacture, construction, and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, time, and cost milestones are met.
You will be a key contact for Project Planning matters within the P3M South West Defence team, maintaining strong service to our clients and providing updates to the Regional Discipline Lead.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
* Experience in establishing performance measurement baselines, including schedules and artefacts.
* Proficiency with PC operating systems and software applications, especially Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office.
* Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes.
* Subject Matter Expert in Project Controls & Planning, with expertise in Earned Value Management, risk management, and NEC Contracts.
Candidates should ideally hold a degree in a construction-related subject.
