* Monday to Friday
* 42.5 hours per week
* Hourly Rate: £17 per hour
* 7.30am to 5.00pm
* Early starts, occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
* Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
The role will involve:
Driving & Operations
* Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to complete daily waste collections, including commercial, industrial, and environmental waste streams.
* Ensure safe loading, transportation and tipping of waste materials.
* Complete daily route sheets, delivery notes and digital records accurately.
* Report vehicle defects immediately and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
* Sort and segregate waste as necessary to comply with recycling and disposal regulations. xsngvjr
Essential
* Valid HGV Class 1 license
* Valid CPC card
* Digital Tachograph card
* Experience in driving large goods vehicles
Desirable
* Previous experience in waste management, recycling, drainage, tanker operations or environmental services
* ADR certification (Packages or Tankers)
* Ability to operate lifting equipment, bin lifts, suction/vacuum tankers, or other specialist vehicles (training can be provided)
