Full-time (37 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to social workers and practitioners
* Oversee case management to ensure high‑quality service delivery and compliance with safeguarding standards
* Support decision‑making within Early Help and Children’s Advice & Support Service (CASS)
* Ensure timely assessments, interventions, and appropriate outcomes for children and families
* Promote best practice and continuous professional development within the team
* Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
* Significant experience within Early Help, MASH, or frontline children’s services
* Previous supervisory or senior practitioner experience
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory frameworks
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

Essential Requirements
* Social Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent
* At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services
