About the job
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to help shape the future of video creation within our platform.
Your work will democratise the video creation process and bring the magic of video communication to areas of the enterprise not previously possible.
Think of it as an opportunity to enable a paradigm shift in video creation & consumption; today users find complexity & editing challenges, whereas we see a future where anyone can sit in the directors chair and bring a vision to life while removed from the day-to-day complexity of video production.
Our platform is used by a community of passionate users, from freelancers, to content creators working in Fortune 500 companies. You will need to deeply understand the needs of our community, users, and customers and stay on top of the latest developments in the generative video & avatar space to shape your own product area.
The Video Creation capabilities you'll own are at the core of our product experience. You'll help us identify the use cases to prioritize for video creation and then build a unified creation experience that blends RAG, fine-tuned LLMs, and other ML-systems working in orchestration along with the features within our Editor. You’ll shape a macro UX experience that shifts users away from the micro-level editing that is common in video production today while owning the core creative experience.

Requirements
* 7+ years of experience managing world-class products.
* Customer obsession.
* Strong product opinions and taste - not shying away from proposing solutions based on your intuition and experience.
* Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and bridge business goals with technical considerations.
* Ability to take ownership of the end-to-end idea to product process and work as a self-directed member of the development team.
* Strong UX focus and understanding of human behaviour.
* Proven track record of shipping impactful products across a broad product surface.
* Outstanding communication skills.
* An understanding of the complexities found within video editing and creation.
* Ability to be an outstanding cross-functional partner; from Engineering, to Design, Sales, Customer Support, and anyone else that will enable you to ship impactful product.
