Hours: 0.6, term time + INSET days
The role of Physical Education Teacher at The River School provides a unique opportunity to teach pupils from KS1 to KS4 (initially KS3 & 4 only) including GCSE PE [AQA]. In addition to lessons, the PE teacher will provide after-school and lunchtime clubs and accompany pupils to local and national sporting fixtures.
• Holding a minibus license is desirable.
• First Aid training will be provided if the successful applicant does not have a current certification
The position will commence immediately, as soon as all relevant checks have been made. The River School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. The school will follow its Safer Recruitment Policy and take up all references. This role is initially until the end of the Summer Term 2026 with the hope for it to be extended.
