We are delighted to be working with this rapidly expanding mutual society that has experienced impressive growth, and have a leadership team in place to continue that progress. We are now looking for someone to join us as a Business Development Consultant.
Responsibilities
* Manage a large number of relationships with Financial Advice businesses that sell the society’s products.
* Offer proposition training, including webinars and presentations, to build brand awareness and meet agreed sales targets.
* Make outbound sales calls and generate leads to identify new opportunities for the sales team.
* Represent the company at corporate business events.
* Book business development meetings and research new business prospects.
* Conduct competitor analysis and produce reports on sales figures and trends for management.
Qualifications
* No financial services experience is required (though it would be a bonus).
* Good experience in a high call‑volume environment in a sales or customer‑service focused role.
* A minimum educational standard of a C GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.

Working Conditions
Office hours are 8:45 am to 5 pm. The salary range is £26,000–31,000, depending on experience, and includes the benefits above. Hybrid working is offered, but you will need to be in the office 2–3 days a week.
