A Systems Accountant is being recruited for our growing Ringwood-based client. This is a pivotal time to join the business as they have recently merged with a larger company, requiring the integration of financial information to streamline financial reporting.
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the IT team, you will have responsibility for:
1. Financial systems management
2. Maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial data
3. Technical support to finance teams, assisting with system issues
4. Identifying and implementing automation opportunities and process enhancements
5. Financial reporting and analysis
6. Month-end process for multiple subsidiaries
7. Variance reporting
8. Assisting with budgets and forecasts
9. Liaising with remote finance team
10. Full-time hours, with consideration for 30 hours per week with flexibility
Suitable Candidate
* Qualified or Part Qualified with relevant systems and accounting experience
* Advanced Excel skills essential
* Power BI, ODBC links, and data extraction and analysis experience
* Experience of multi-currency and multiple entities
* Management accounts experience in a multi-currency environment
* Strong accounting systems skills - Xero in particular would be useful
