Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Mechanical Technician on behalf of one of our leading clients based in the UK to join their dynamic team. If you have a strong understanding of technical publications, coupled with knowledge of commercial aerospace working practices, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct repairs on aircraft components including seats, latches, interior components, drain masts, and various other units within our fully equipped workshops.
2. Work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring all repairs are carried out to the highest standards.
3. Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics accurately.
4. Adhere strictly to technical instructions from manuals or drawings.
5. Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and fast turnaround times.
6. Participate in company events and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
7. Strong mechanical/electromechanical background.
8. Previous experience within the aviation industry preferred but not essential.
9. On-the-job training will be provided.
10. Must be a UK citizen.
11. Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including weekends when required.
