About the Role
Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 7am to 7pm
We are looking for a multi‑skilled security officer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will ensure the safety and security of our customers, retailers, and staff by conducting regular patrols, completing reactive and scheduled cleaning tasks, and responding to incidents on the estate. This role requires a Security and CCTV SIA Licence and a willingness to clean and get involved.
Main Responsibilities
* Patrol the site to ensure safety, security and cleanliness
* Advising and assisting retailers where necessary
* Perform daily general cleaning of the site, including the use of cleaning machinery
* Review CCTV footage
* Ensure all daily tasks are completed within deadline requirements
Health & Safety Accountabilities
* Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to maintain a positive flow of ideas and high morale.
* Demonstrate the company’s safety image positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
* Maintain personal H&S competence and skill level by attending the Managing Safety programme and other company safety events.
* Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
The Ideal Candidate Should Meet the Following Criteria
* Front‑line security experience
* SIA Qualification for security and CCTV
* Confidence in independent working
