We are currently recruiting for a New Business Advisor on behalf of our client, based in Hedge End. Our client is a leading specialist insurance broker providing commercial and personal customers with a range of services to meet individual needs.
This is a permanent full-time role, with an opportunity for career progression with generous commission and bonus schemes. The role involves dealing with new commercial and non-standard inquiries, managing client accounts and does not include cold calling.
Duties and Responsibilities New Business Advisor:
* Answering new commercial and non-standard insurance queries, via phone & email.
* Liaising between financial advisors and customers.
* Gathering related risk information & preparing quotes.
* No cold calling, all hot leads from customer enquiries.
* Managing your own customer accounts from start to renewal, including updating new insurance policies, mid-term changes to policy and queries.
* Communicating with insurers to acquire terms, develop relationships and ascertain premiums.
* Building new and overseeing existing connections with the introducing advisors from four key partners.
Experience required:
* Experience in a sales environment ideally in the commercial insurance market.
* Strong and confident communication skills.
* Confident telephone skills and an active listener; able to control the call in a professional and assertive manner.
* Excellent team player.
* Organised and highly motivated; can be responsible for own workload.
* Positive approach to dealing with new inquiries in a timely fashion, with a can-do attitude. xsngvjr
