Job Advert: Retail Showroom Specialist Location: On site based in Coventry Salary: £27,500 basic plus commission scheme based on sales targets Working Hours: 5 days out of 6 (Monday to Saturday) 8-4 or 9-5 (rotated), alternating Saturdays (2 per month) This role requires someone who is able to work flexibly as covering absences on occasion will result in working overtime. Role Purpose for a Showroom Specialist: Reporting to the Showroom Manager and working with the Contact Centre and Warehouse teams to ensure the seamless collection of orders for all customers, keeping up to date with product changes and current promotions and ensuring regular contact with suppliers, to help excel product and technical knowledge. Key Responsibilities of a Showroom Specialist: Deliver a high-quality service to all customers before, during and after the sale transaction Demonstrate and sell appropriate products and accessories Ensure that customer enquires via email or telephone are followed up in a timely and professional manner Deal with any credit queries as appropriate in line with GDPR Contact customers who have placed orders for samples via website, to create and follow up sale leads Enhance the customers purchase by offering relevant additional products and / or accessories Assist in all store presentation, ticketing, cleaning and promotional displays in addition to cutting and moving of goods as applicable Resolve customer queries, involving the Customer Care team as and when requires Stay up to date and continually develop knowledge of products, trends, market, ranges, features and instillations Keep up to date on Company promotions and activities Key Skills/Attributes of a Showroom Specialist: Previous experience in a customer facing/focused role Previous sales experience from within a retail environment Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly Highly organised, efficient and capable of completing tasks within set timeframes Able to demonstrate strong influencing and persuasion skills, enabling to up-sell and close sales Professional and take pride in how you present yourself Flexible and resilient, willingly able to adapt to meet changing priorities or business requirements If you're enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to contribute to a thriving business, we'd love to hear from you.
