At Hoar Cross Hall, we are looking for an enthusiastic Breakfast Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience during breakfast service in our award-winning Ballroom. You'll be a natural communicator, with a keen eye for detail and a drive to maintain our high service standards. Working as part of a vibrant, energetic team, you'll help ensure every guest's breakfast experience is exceptional. Key Responsibilities Providing efficient, courteous, and professional service during breakfast, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests. Assisting in delivering high-quality food and beverage service across all hotel and spa areas, focusing primarily on the Ballroom during breakfast service. Seting up and clear tables, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the dining areas. Runing a section in the Ballroom, and assist in additional dining areas during Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, Lunch, and Dinner services. Preparing for events or functions by following Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all setup procedures are followed with precision. Ensuring proper compliance with health and safety standards, dress codes, and service procedures at all times. Addressing and resolve guest complaints promptly or escalate as needed, ensuring guest satisfaction. Undertaking training sessions to refresh and expand your skill set as required. Personal Specification Essentials Have effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues. Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently. Have a genuine passion for food, service, and creating memorable guest experiences. Be flexible to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays. Be a team player with a positive attitude who contributes to a vibrant and collaborative work environment. Desirables Having previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality roles is a plus but not essential. Having previous experience handling large volume covers is beneficial. Having food safety training is an advantage. Shift Pattern Breakfast shift patterns available: 0600-1600hrs / 0700-1600hrs / 0800-1730hrs Work 5 out of 7 days a week 30-40 hours per week - zero hour contract Full flexibility is key, as you may be required to work as necessary to meet the team and business requirements.
