Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Teach a broad curriculum including world religions, ethics, and philosophy (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
* Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respect for diverse perspectives
* Assess and monitor student progress effectively
* Contribute to whole-school ethos and enrichment opportunities
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for RE
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Commitment to promoting inclusivity and respect
Desirable
* Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Religious Studies
* Ability to contribute to PSHE or Citizenship
* Interest in leading extracurricular activities such as debate or philosophy clubs
