The Cedars are a 12 bedded residential home that specialise in care for individuals with Learning disabilities, mental health needs and early -onset dementia.
We are looking for dedicated and experienced Support workers to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver exceptional care
* Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans
* Provide practical and emotional support with daily living, personal care, and activities
* Monitor outcomes and document changes in care or wellbeing
* Liaise with families, professionals, and colleagues to ensure consistent, tailored support
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, policies, and CQC standards
* Support the onboarding and training of junior staff
What You’ll Need
* Previous experience in a senior support working role
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
* Must be Medication Administration trained
* Strong supervision and communication skills
* Excellent care planning & record keeping experience
* Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and nights if required
