About the role
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the needs of residents to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
You can also support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You will always respect the dignity and preferences of residents and will help create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
About you
Essential qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
You should also have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly, and be warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
You will have opportunities to develop your career through ongoing training. Many Senior Care Assistant roles progress to Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
