We're now looking for a Structures Surveying Technician who enjoys hands-on fieldwork, technical investigation, and producing accurate data engineers can trust.
The Role — Practical Work With Real Impact
This is a varied, site-based technical role carrying out infrastructure inspections and investigations across the UK, including:
Highway infrastructure inspections
Asbestos surveys within infrastructure environments
Structural investigations and condition assessments
Trial pit surveys and investigative works
Pavement surveys and testing
You'll work alongside experienced surveyors and inspectors, supporting Highway Operators, Major Contractors, and Structural Engineers with the reliable data they need to make safe, informed decisions.
In short: your work becomes the evidence behind critical infrastructure choices.
About You — Methodical, Practical, Reliable
You know accurate site data underpins good engineering.
You'll likely have:
Experience in pavement or structural coring
Experience with concrete investigations
Familiarity with survey equipment (e.g. Hilti or Proceq)
You're also:
Safety-focused and detail-driven
Comfortable working on site in varied environments
Organised, dependable, and professional
A strong team contributor who takes pride in doing things properly
