Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production/Signage Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the large format printing and finishing process as well as various signage projects and vehicle graphics, ensuring quality standards are met, and assisting with various tasks within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic production setting.
Duties
* Assist with the production of large format printing projects, signage and vehicle graphics
* Support the production process by preparing materials and ensuring correct specifications are followed
* Operate machinery and equipment related to print production
* Organise and maintain machines and production stock, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
* Assist with loading and unloading materials from delivery vehicles or storage areas
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Requirements
* Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in print machinery operation
* Familiarity with cnc machines is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
* Previous experience in assembly or warehouse environments is desirable
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
* Prior experience in print production/signage production or related fields is preferred
