Lead Accountant – Indirect Tax
Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex (Onsite)
Salary: £55,000–£65,000

tMy client, a global manufacturing and technology business, is looking for a Lead Accountant – Indirect Tax to join its finance team. This role will focus on indirect tax compliance, VAT reporting, and process improvement across multiple international entities
.
Key Responsibiliti
esManage indirect tax reporting and compliance across assigned regio
nsReview VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat, and related tax filin
gsSupport outsourced tax providers to ensure accurate and timely delive
ryMonitor VAT regulations and support implementation of new requiremen
tsMaintain VAT reconciliations and ensure ERP tax accura
cySupport audits, customs processes, and HMRC reclaim activiti
esAssist with SAP S4/Hana tax-related implementations and process improvemen
tsWork closely with finance, IT, and operational teams across the busine
ss
Requireme
ntsQualified Accountant (ACCA, CTA, ICAEW or equivale
nt)7+ years’ experience within indirect tax or VAT report
ingStrong knowledge of global indirect tax and VAT regulati
onsSAP ECC/S4 experience with tax-related proces
sesAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical abil
ityExperience within manufacturing or multinational environments prefer
redExcellent communication and organisational ski
