Description
At Salesforce, we are seeking outstanding individuals to join our team as an Apromore Solution Engineer with a strong technical background and deep expertise in process intelligence, data engineering, and AI-driven solutions. In this role, you will go beyond traditional pre‑sales, bridging the gap between process perception and reality, designing bespoke B2B solutions, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to guide enterprise clients through their automation and Agentic AI adoption journey. Apromore, now part of Salesforce, is a global leader in AI-driven process intelligence technology that provides an "Intelligent Process Twin" to gain complete operational transparency and enables organizations to systematically discover, de‑risk, deploy, and govern Agentic AI automation across the enterprise.
About the Role
As a key technical anchor within our Apromore Specialist team, you will partner directly with Account Executives to advance and close enterprise opportunities, establishing deep technical credibility. This hands‑on, high‑impact role requires pre‑sales depth and engineering mastery. You will target enterprise clients scaling AI into production, leveraging Apromore's process intelligence capabilities to identify high‑propensity, high‑ROI use cases for AI agents (such as Agentforce). You will guide C‑level executives and technical stakeholders toward data‑driven, value‑backed technical solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Run Great Technical Discovery: partner with AEs to conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions, analyze business problems, uncover blockers, and map architecture constraints to design optimized processes.
* Prototyping & Hands‑on Implementation: act as a builder by constructing PoCs and minimum viable prototypes, ingesting historical event logs into Apromore to capture factual baselines and validate technical feasibility.
* Data Configuration & Architecture: guide customers on data connectivity; assist in designing robust process data models, building ETL pipelines, and integrating enterprise data ecosystems.
* Deliver Value‑Based Technical Messaging: translate prototypes into business cases for decision makers in Automation/AI, Digital Transformation, Operational Excellence, and Risk & Compliance.
* De‑Risk Agentic AI Deployments: demonstrate how clean process context and clear handoffs enable safe, productive agent deployments.
* Deliver Training & Consultancy Projects: lead professional service engagements in process intelligence, onboarding, and training, ensuring successful adoption.
* Scale Engineering Impact: build reusable assets, reference architectures, demos, and mentor junior Solution Engineers.
What You Should Have
* 5+ years of experience in customer‑facing technical selling or technical project delivery roles.
* Process intelligence expertise: experience with process analytics, mining, simulation, and data‑driven BPM.
* Strong data engineering skills: proficiency in SQL, Python, and building data pipelines and API integrations.
* AI fluency: familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic orchestration frameworks.
* Sales instinct & commercial curiosity: understanding of pre‑sales in complex enterprise deals and solving technical puzzles that unlock commercial success.
* Exceptional relationship building: ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from C‑suite to IT teams.
* Education: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science/AI, or equivalent.
Characteristics
* Blend of technical depth, strategic business acumen, and low‑ego collaboration.
* Agile, "roll‑up‑your‑sleeves" problem‑solving that favors progress over perfection.
* Intellectual openness and ability to navigate ambiguity.
