About the Role
We are looking for a resilient and committed Humanities Teacher to join a supportive SEMH secondary school in High Wycombe.
You’ll be teaching small classes (max. 6 students), delivering engaging Humanities lessons (History, Geography and/or Religious Studies) to pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 & KS4
* Adapt teaching to meet diverse SEMH needs
* Use a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach
* Work closely with pastoral and behaviour support teams
* Monitor progress and tailor interventions
* Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and/or KS4
* Strong classroom presence with a patient and consistent approach
* Emotionally resilient and adaptable
* Passion for inclusive education
Experience in SEMH, PRU, or alternative provision is desirable but not essential.
