Overview
First Point Group is recruiting for a Sales Director that is currently selling to / recently sold to UK TELECOM, OPERATORS (BT/EE / BT Group / VMO2 / Virgin Media / Sky etc.). You will have a history of selling B2B SaaS (AI CX / Voice / Chatbot / FinTech is preferred) to these UK telecom operators, preferably as New Logo / New Business Development wins.
Due to the volume of applications, candidates with no AI CX / AI Chatbot / FinTech / Mobile Money and/or B2B SaaS experience and/or UK telecom operators clearly mentioned on your resume will not be contacted.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity that offers a Sales Director with previous experience of New Business Development of AI CX / FinTech B2B SaaS solutions to Telecom Operators. You will join an expanding business that is going from strength-to-strength and expand market share across the FinTech and Telecommunications verticals. You will be responsible for driving high-value enterprise deals, building relationships with senior decision makers, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
* Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with telecom operators in relation to AI SaaS for Contact Centres / CX.
* Build and execute a robust sales strategy and pipeline to exceed revenue targets.
* Establish and nurture C-level relationships with prospective clients.
* Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to design tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
* Stay ahead of market trends in AI / FinTech, mobile money, and telecom solutions to position offerings effectively.
* Negotiate high-value contracts and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
* Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and conferences.
Requirements
* Proven track record in new business development / hunter sales at Director or Senior Manager level.
* Experience selling AI CX, FinTech solutions, mobile money platforms, digital payments, or telecom software/services.
* Strong network and ability to sell into telecom operators and/or financial services providers.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to close complex enterprise deals.
* Self-starter, motivated by targets and success in competitive markets.
