The role
As a Quality Control Coordinator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Play a pivotal role in shaping quality excellence, your work will directly impact Cavendish’s products, services, and reputation.
Day-to-day, you’ll
1. Manage resource and supply chain notifications to ensure timely responses.
2. Ensure supplier quality documentation is complete, issued, and accessible to all stakeholders.
3. Coordinate inspection assignments and liaise with customer inspection teams, ensuring contract coverage.
4. Ensure timely issuance, receipt, and storage of inspection reports for internal and external access.
5. Lead and organise inspection resources effectively, including ad hoc support (e.g., Stork/WSP) to meet customer commitments.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week based in Leicester, providing hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Quality Control Coordinator:
6. Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
7. Solid working knowledge and application of ISO standards.
8. Familiarity with the nuclear industry and its operational context.
9. Understanding of quality standards and compliance requirements.
10. Experience in coordination or facilitation roles is advantageous.
