We are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join our thriving community.
Our DWP Digital teams are building, maintaining and improving public services used by millions of people.
The Data & Analytics team helps DWP run smoothly by supporting day-to-day operations, analysis, and reporting. Their goal is to make services better for the public while keeping data safe and accurate. The DWP Analytics team gives data experts the tools and secure platforms they need to turn data into useful insights that improve services and help prevent fraud and mistakes.
You and your role
As a Business Analyst in the Analytics team, you'll play a key role in making change happen. You'll work across different stages of a project, helping to connect what the business needs with what the tech and data teams can do-so that together, you can come up with solutions that really make a difference.
You'll continue to develop and improve your knowledge of Business Analysis and Agile principles. And you'll also have chance to coach, lead and mentor others.
You'll lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and utilise other techniques to effectively translate research data into detailed requirements to help deliver value and great outcomes for our users.
A key part of your role will be to work collaboratively with our Product Owners to agree roadmap priorities, feed into delivery plans, new features and products as well as contributing towards prioritisation activities.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Leeds, Manchester or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of £42,614.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
