This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their legal career in a supportive and professional environment.The RoleThis is a fee-earning role, providing assistance on a wide range of Court of Protection matters. Responsibilities will include:
* Opening client files and handling initial enquiries
* Preparing deputyship applications
* Drafting and sending routine correspondence
* Visiting clients and liaising with deputies, attorneys, or representatives
* Maintaining accurate schedules, spreadsheets, and financial records
* Liaising with care homes and family members
* Inputting data such as bank statements and ensuring records remain up to date
* Assisting with annual reports and updating registers
Some travel will be required, so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance is essential.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in Law or substantial relevant experience in a legal setting (training provided)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
* A proactive, professional, and compassionate approach
* Good IT skills and attention to detail
