Description Grade UE07: £41,064 - £48,822 per annum Centre for Open Learning / English Language Education Full Time: 35 hours per week Fixed term: 7-week contract (13 July to 28 August 2026) OR 11-week contract (15 June to 28 August 2026). For this post, we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated EAP practitioners to teach on our BALEAP-accredited pre-sessional programme on campus in Edinburgh in Summer 2026. Contracts of 7 weeks (13 July to 28 August 2026) or 11 weeks (15 June to 28 August 2026) are available. This post is full-time (35 hours per week). You will be joining an experienced and very supportive teaching and professional services team at this leading Russell Group university, as we work together with our highly motivated students to prepare them to confidently join their academic communities at the University of Edinburgh. Starting your contract with a 5-day paid induction, you will find the University’s Centre for Open Learning (COL) to be an exciting, positive, creative, challenging and rewarding place to work. We offer a competitive salary with three possible entry points within the UE07 grade in recognition of your demonstrated experience and teaching practice. As a Pre-Sessional Teaching Fellow, you will use English Language Education’s (ELE) in-house materials to plan and teach lessons, to provide formative and summative feedback to students and to mark final assessments on the University of Edinburgh’s Pre-Sessional Programme.
