Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of teaching staff
* Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences
* Ensure students remain on task with their learning
* Implement school behaviour and safeguarding policies
* Record attendance and report absences appropriately
* Manage classroom behaviour calmly and effectively
* Liaise with teaching staff and heads of department regarding cover work
* Encourage students to engage in tasks and participate in learning
* Report any safeguarding concerns to the relevant designated staff
* Support students in understanding the lesson content
