Installing and configuring new hardware, including but not limited to, servers, desktop and laptop computers, printers, switches, routers and computer-based production equipment as required across the estate. Provide troubleshooting and assistance on the virtual environment and windows server estate. Roll out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources. Implement and support the network and computing infrastructure plan. Ensuring that all software is licensed as per the vendors requirement to ensure company compliance. Carry out basic training for Microsoft and other software. Answering the telephone and dealing with HSL colleagues. Maintain the HSL asset database. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
