The role of the Field Care Supervisor is to support the delivery of high-quality care support services by performing various functions in the field, including assessing and reviewing individual services, and supervising, instructing, and supporting care workers.
Responsibilities include working with Care Coordinators to plan effective care worker rotas tailored to individual needs and skills, conducting regular reviews and risk assessments of services, participating in multidisciplinary reviews, shadowing new care workers to ensure competence, and observing and evaluating care worker practice during supervision or as needed.
Field Care Supervisors primarily work in the community but also perform some office-based administrative tasks.
What you’ll do
Support the delivery of quality care services through field assessments, supervision, and review of care workers. Collaborate with Care Coordinators on rota planning, conduct reviews, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and evaluate care worker performance.
Spend most of your time in the community, with some administrative work in the office.
Qualifications
Experience in conducting initial risk and needs assessments in various settings such as homes, hospitals, or care facilities. Ability to work with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and others to ensure holistic care delivery.
