Position Context:
As a Day Process Logistics Technician, you will report directly to the Day Process Supervisor and support plant operations by managing the flow of bulk and packaged materials on and off-site. You will also assist shift teams with processing activities such as drumming, de-drumming, filtration, and blending.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Checking daily tanker movements against schedules, cross-referencing order numbers and products.
2. Inspecting road barrels for cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures.
3. Completing effluent plant tasks as per procedures.
4. Loading and unloading road barrels, ensuring correct labeling before departure.
5. Operating supporting process units.
6. Performing drumming and de-drumming of IBCs and drums.
7. Following Bulk Transfer Operating Discipline and Line Integrity Check procedures.
Required skills :
* Strong commitment to personal and team safety.
* Proficiency in PC literacy.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Good organizational and planning abilities.
* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Experience in the Chemical Industry is preferred.
