Main duties of the job
Working in a vibrant special school, supporting children with complex health needs, delivering feeds and medications, and being a familiar, reassuring face throughout their day. Running phlebotomy clinics across the region, helping children and families feel at ease during blood tests. Supporting nurses in delivering outstanding care--including being part of compassionate end-of-life care for children and families in their most important moments

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
Knowledge
* Clinical skills - ability and experience of following care plans and carrying out delegated responsibilities
* Phlebotomy and wound care skills or willingness to undertake required learning
* Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures
* Familiarity and understanding of child development
* Basic IT Skills
* Ability to prioritise workload
Experience
* Experience of working with children and young people
* Experience of working with families and carers
* Experience in using own initiative
* Proven ability to work under pressure
* Experience of working in the community environment
* Experience of co-ordinating clinics
