Our client, a global leader in Missile and Defence, partnering with the UK Ministry of Defence, seeks an experienced Test Design Support Engineer. Join their Production Design Support (PDS) team and play a pivotal role in supporting production activities at state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the interface between design teams and manufacturing teams.
2. Collaborate with other support engineers to provide knowledge and support.
3. Focus primarily on advanced module missile programmes and subsystems.

What do you need?:
To be a good fit for this role, candidates should be able to demonstrate several of the following attributes:
7. Degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.
8. Proven experience in the design of one or more of the following disciplines:-
9. Digital and Analogue electronics
10. Power Electronics
11. RF & Antenna
12. Interconnects
13. Safety Electronics
14. Test Systems
15. Schematic design
16. PCB Design
17. Adherence to BS EN Standards
18. Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.
19. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities that this may bring and a passion for innovation and collaboration.
20. You'll be prepared to work autonomously if needed, lead the delivery of your work assignments, and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of your outputs.
21. Manage discreet work packages preparing bids, controlling costs and delivering solutions.
22. Experience in supporting manufacturing and resolving manufacturing issues is an advantage, but not essential.
23. Investigative skills to be able to find Root Causes of design related issues and propose robust Corrective Actions.
24. Finally, we are looking for someone who has a record of accomplishment of on-time delivery along with good verbal and written communication skills.
