About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include helping with classroom activities, supporting individual or small groups of students, and assisting children with special educational needs (SEN).
This role offers variety, professional development, and the chance to make a real impact in both mainstream and specialist primary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 classrooms
* Assist with lesson delivery and small group activities
* Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEN
* Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain focus
* Work collaboratively with school staff to track pupil progress
* Requirements:
* Experience in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 settings (or similar)
* Proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children
* Available to start ASAP
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
