What is uMed?
The process of conducting clinical research is incredibly expensive and time-consuming, limiting our efforts to find answers to the world's most important medical challenges. uMed is a clinical research network fit for the 21st century, underpinned by cutting edge technology that connects patients, electronic health data and research groups across the world. Our rapidly growing network covers over 350 GP sites in the UK representing over 3,500,000 patients as well as a network of US healthcare providers representing a further 3 million patients. uMed was founded by an NHS doctor and is backed by UK and US venture capital.

The Role: Study Support Nurse
We are seeking a compassionate and talented individual to join our team on an initial 3-4 week contract. You\'ll play a key role in the Patient Services team with the following responsibilities:
* Conducting nurse screening calls to establish patients eligibility to a study
* First line of support for Patient queries
* Providing accurate records of study progress for sponsor review
* Following up patient queries
* Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act
* Role modelling patient centred approach to wider uMed team members.
* Ensuring clear and accurate records are maintained
* Undertaking supportive tasks delegated by the Director of Patient services
We’d love to hear from you, if you are an experienced Study Support Nurse who has a passion for research, innovation and striving for excellence in patient experience and outcomes. The ability to seek solutions to barriers and ensure patients are, at all times heard & valued is imperative to this role.
This role can be flexible for the hours you would prefer.
Essential Requirements
* Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered Nurse
* A clear enhanced DBS Check
* Certification in Good Clinical Practice
* Excellent communication and IT skills
