The successful candidate will take full teaching responsibility for a Reception class, delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework. You will create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that supports children’s early development, independence, and confidence.
The school is looking for a teacher with strong classroom presence, a positive approach to behaviour management, and a genuine passion for Early Years education.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging Reception lessons and activities
* Supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
* Working collaboratively with the EYFS team and support staff
* Building positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Reception Teacher - Primary School in Wembley you will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early development
* Previous EYFS teaching experience
* Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
* Positive, nurturing, and proactive approach
