Role Overview
The Staff Nurse will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across a range of outpatient specialties including dermatology, trauma and orthopaedics, ENT, breast, vascular, and various medical clinics. The role includes evening and weekend shifts and offers a bespoke induction programme to support professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver patient-focused clinical care in line with Trust values and professional standards
* Conduct individualised assessments and implement care plans
* Maintain accurate records and medication control
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
* Support students and junior staff through supervision and teaching
* Participate in continuous professional development
* Uphold governance, safety, and quality assurance standards
Required Skills and Experience
* NMC registration (RN 1/2)
* Knowledge of Band 5 nursing responsibilities
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Understanding of Patient First philosophy
* Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
* Outpatient or acute hospital experience
* Evidence of post-registration professional development
