Head of Sales-Europe A pioneering and specialised contract research organisation (CRO), is seeking a visionary and commercially astute leader to join its team as a Head of Sales. This strategic role is based in Europe with full remote flexibility and requires international travel to engage with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Renowned for its excellence in pre-clinical services, supporting pharmaceutical and biotech's with cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and scale the global commercial strategy, aligning business development, marketing, and client services to drive sustainable growth. Identify and capitalise on emerging market opportunities, trends, and partnerships to expand the company's footprint in the pre-clinical, bioanalytical, CRO space. Build and nurture high-level relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), strategic partners, and major clients. Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and client engagement plans. Represent at international conferences and industry events to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally with scientific, operational, and executive teams to ensure commercial alignment with innovation and delivery. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing commercial team across Europe. Qualifications: Advanced degree (master's or PhD preferred) in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial roles within the CRO or life sciences industry. Deep understanding of the preclinical or discovery market. Proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading commercial teams. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including GLP, GxP Based in Europe with willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%). Seniority level
