Mechanical Supervisor | Cork
An established M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join its on-site delivery team in Cork. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to take the lead on high-profile industrial and pharmaceutical builds within a fast-paced and quality-focused environment.
In this role, you’ll supervise mechanical installations from early-stage mobilisation through to commissioning and handover. You’ll work closely with project management and subcontractors, ensuring all site activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct and coordinate day-to-day mechanical works on site, including labour supervision and material allocation
* Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, building regulations, and company health and safety standards
* Monitor progress, quality, and compliance through site inspections, walkdowns, and documentation reviews
* Manage subcontractor performance, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with other trades as needed
* Conduct post-installation checks and support handover processes including punch-list management
* Maintain accurate site records, daily logs, and compliance documentation
* Support and enforce site safety culture through regular engagement and toolbox talks
