Bring your creativity to one of Norfolk's most inspiring destinations.
We're looking for a Marketing Executive to help tell Pensthorpe's story, create engaging content, and deliver campaigns that attract visitors, grow our audience, and share our passion for nature.
This is a varied role blending social media, digital marketing, and hands-on campaign coordination. You'll be part of a small, friendly team where your ideas will make a real impact - and your "office" will be a 700-acre nature reserve filled with wildlife, gardens, and adventure.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media
• Create engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and the website - from writing copy to designing graphics in Canva and helping with video content.
• Manage Pensthorpe's social media channels: schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages in a timely, on-brand way.
• Use tools like Meta Business Suite to plan and track social campaigns, review performance, and suggest improvements.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
• Keep the website fresh with seasonal content, event listings, and news updates.
• Use Google Analytics and other tools to track and report on digital performance, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Support email marketing campaigns for members, visitors, and the team, ensuring they align with the marketing strategy.
Brand & Campaigns
• Ensure all marketing materials reflect Pensthorpe's brand and values.
• Assist with multi-channel campaigns across digital, print, and social media, working with internal teams and external partners.
• Support competitions, promotions, and other initiatives to increase engagement and data capture.
• Work closely with the senior management team to align marketing with organisational goals and events.
• Manage the image library, incorporating user-generated content for future use.
• Liaise with suppliers such as designers, printers, and photographers to deliver materials on time.
• Proofread copy and visuals to maintain high standards.
Research & Insights
• Keep up to date with industry trends, visitor feedback, and competitor activity.
• Compile monthly marketing reports on campaign performance, social media engagement, and website traffic.

• Passion for nature: Genuine interest in wildlife, conservation, and the outdoors.
• Tech-savvy: Comfortable using Canva, Google Analytics, and email marketing tools.
• Experience in a marketing or related role is preferred but not essential.
